Due to the Coronavirus new regulations were put in place in various places INCLUDING SCHOOLS.
We are following protocols from the CDC and the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene.
We appreciate your cooperation with the new regulations and your willingness to keep everyone safe, including your children.
Below is important information to safeguard the health of your child and our school community:
Symptoms potentially include the following: fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or high, cough, stuffy nose, chills, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, muscle/body aches, fatigue, sore throat, headache.
**Please know, if you or your child experiences any of these symptoms, we ask for a PCR to be submitted and a medical letter of clearance to allow your child to return to school. Rapid testing will not be accepted. ** If your child visited the nurse, the referral form should be given to the doctor to complete, so it may be returned to her.
In case of inclement weather, AM radio stations CBS News Radio 88, 1010 WINS, and WOR 710 will announce closings for either Bronx Catholic Elementary School or Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of New York.
