Dr. Amy Rowe, Principal
Dr. Amy Rowe is the principal of St. Philip Neri School. With a background in Catholic education spanning 16 years, Dr. Rowe began her career as an elementary and middle school teacher at St. Anselm School in the South Bronx. She previously served as Principal at Immaculate Conception School in the Bronx. Dr. Rowe holds a master's degree in Administration and Supervision from Fordham University and a dual bachelor's degree in English and Education from Manhattanville College. She completed a doctoral degree in Administration and Supervision/Church Leadership at Fordham. Dr. Rowe focused on educational diversity and inclusivity throughout her graduate and postgraduate studies.
Mrs. Regan Haney, Academic Dean
Mrs. Regan Haney joined St. Philip Neri in August 2023. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Education, emphasizing Multicultural Education. Prior to joining the St. Philip Neri Team, Mrs. Haney worked as a classroom teacher in Phoenix, Arizona, and Mansfield, Massachusetts. While teaching, Mrs. Haney initiated multiple new programs at her schools, which has led her to also take on the title After School Enrichment Director here at St. Philip Neri. Mrs. Haney attended Catholic schools and is thrilled to be a part of the St. Philip Neri Catholic Education and Family Center!
Ms. Cristina Nieves, Education Director of Early Childhood
Ms. Cristina Nieves holds a Master’s Degree and Dual Certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She joined St. Philip Neri in August 2018 as a Kindergarten teacher and then a UPK teacher for the following years. This year, she became the Education Director of Early Childhood at St. Philip Neri. She is excited to work with UPK families to help enrich each child’s love of learning! Ms. Nieves spent her childhood playing basketball for the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) and became a coach for 10+ years. Ms. Nieves is thrilled to become the CYO moderator for the school as she brings basketball and volleyball into St. Philip Neri Catholic Education and Family Center!
