Dear SPN Prospective Families,
Families choose Saint Philip Neri School because they don’t want their children to walk to school; they want their children to run. Every morning, I have the pleasure of seeing students in navy blue and gold uniforms run down the Grand Concourse to shake hands and enter the building eager to start their day. They are greeted by the smiling faces of friends and faculty as the classrooms and hallways buzz with laughter and excitement about the learning that lies ahead.
The faculty at Saint Philip Neri School has created a nurturing environment that appreciates and celebrates the talents and passions of each individual child. Our academically challenging curriculum is based on the Ursuline emphasis on service to the Church and the world. In fact, our School motto, Serviam, means "to serve". We also focus on Franciscan values of educating the whole child: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. At Saint Philip Neri School, we strive to cultivate students who are passionate leaders and self-confident lifelong learners. Our integrated core curriculum is enriched with art, music, gym, intramural sports, and so much more. After they leave Saint Philip Neri School, our students are confident that they can follow their passions and make a difference in the world we live in.
Families at Saint Philip Neri School are involved. We feel blessed to work in partnership with parents as we guide their children from their first day of pre-kindergarten to their eighth grade graduation. We welcome you to see what Saint Philip Neri School has to offer. I look forward to shaking your hand and getting to know your family.
Many Blessings,
Mrs. A. Beebe, Principal
